I’m Gabby, the founder of the MCC!

When I moved to Scotland in 2020, I knew I wanted to bring my decade of photography experience to my new home—but it had to be something extraordinary. Scotland’s magic, folklore, and breathtaking landscapes are unlike anywhere else in the world. From its whimsical charm to its incredible architecture, this country inspires stories, and I wanted our sessions to capture all of that.

My love for cinematic imagery and the feeling you get from diving into a favorite fantasy novel (ACOTAR fans, I see you 👀) led to the creation of Main Character Moment Sessions. These shoots are designed to bring out the magic in you while blending it seamlessly with the enchantment of Scotland’s surroundings.

Since launching in early 2023, the MCC experience has grown beyond my wildest dreams. I’ve been fortunate to train three talented photographers and a brilliant videographer to join our team, each one dedicated to capturing the essence of your story in their unique way and bringing Main Character magic to life.

  • Upon booking your session with us you’ll receive a preparation booklet that will help you get ready for the shoot.

    Inside you’ll find outfit recommendations & store suggestions, hair and makeup vendors and even a playlist to get you into the mood.

    Upon booking your session with us, you’ll be invited to a pre shoot zoom call where we can discuss your outfit vision for the session and make suggestions to help bring your dream to life!

Whether you're celebrating love, friendship, or simply yourself, we’re here to capture your story in a way that feels authentic and empowering.     If you’re dreaming of your Main Character moment, we recommend submitting an inquiry as soon as you know your travel dates. We’ll do our best to reach out at least two months before your trip to make the magic happen! ✨

  • Upon enquiry we’ll connect you with a photographer who best suits your shoot vision & provide pricing and inclusions from there - each photographer charges slightly differently based on their length of experience.

    Prices for our brand new photographers to the team start from £250 and our more experienced photographers start from £650+

  • Anywhere in Scotland your heart desires! ✨ Whether it’s a misty castle, a rugged coastline, or the rolling Highlands, we’ll meet you there. Pricing varies by location, and while some of our photographers can travel, others may have limits. You’ll have the chance to share your dream shoot details in the inquiry form above!
